Patricia sees individuals and couples at One Therapy in Oxford Circus.
Psychotherapy offers a collaborative environment for understanding and challenging long-term patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. Patricia’s focus is on helping clients find new perspectives on themselves and their lives.
Patricia works within a psychodynamic approach. This focuses on early experience to help us gain more awareness of how this shapes who we are in the present. She offers clients a calm and accepting space in which they can start to explore their emotions and attitudes to gain a deeper self–knowledge. Knowing more about who you are – and why you think, feel and behave as you do – can transform your relationship with yourself and others.
Individual therapy: Patricia has worked with clients for many years, helping them to explore a range of diverse issues, including: social anxiety, sexuality, identity, loss, relationship issues and difficulties in making emotional connections.
Couples/Relationship therapy: This kind of therapy usually involves engagement over a shorter period of time, so there is an emphasis on a more psychoeducational approach to help you find ways to communicate more effectively within your relationship. Patricia is certified by COSRT to work with clients who are interested in exploring their relationship within a therapeutic setting. (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, Level 5 training).
