Paying for
Your Therapy

Therapy begins with an initial consultation where you can speak in confidence with one of our therapists.

We have been providing therapy in London since 2006.

At first appointment, we will consider which of our counsellors or psychotherapists will be most helpful to you. You may have a preference for the type of therapist you see and this can be discussed at your first meeting. Our fee for an initial consultation for individual therapy with a Consultant Therapist is £100.

If you decide to continue with further appointments after your initial consultation, our fee for ongoing individual counselling with a Consultant Therapist is based on a sliding scale, starting at £90 per session. Your fee will be agreed at your first appointment based on your ability to pay.

Our fee for personal therapy with a Senior Consultant Therapist is £140 per session, from your first session.

Our fee for couples therapy is £130 from the first appointment with a Consultant Therapist. Couples therapy with a Senior Consultant Therapist will be charged at £160 per session. Please visit our therapists to view profiles of our Consultant Therapists and Senior Consultant Therapists.

We also provide specialist psychosexual therapy for individuals or couples who may be experiencing sexual issues within their relationships.

Counselling appointments are held weekly as weekly therapy is the most effective type of therapy. We do not offer fortnightly or monthly counselling appointments. Missed or cancelled sessions (even with notice) are payable in full.

Appointments are available in Soho, Oxford Circus, Bloomsbury, Kensington and online

Our private counselling rooms are located in Soho, Oxford Circus, Bloomsbury and Kensington. Established in 2006, we have a great deal of experience helping our clients explore and resolve personal, emotional and psychological issues. One of our experienced therapists might be the right therapist for you.

Occasionally, some of our clients prefer meeting with their therapist online. For clients who find getting to our offices difficult, therapy can be held online by appointment using platforms like Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp. Our online clients are from London, the UK and from across the world.

If you would prefer to have therapy from your home or office, all of our therapists are experienced in providing online counselling and psychotherapy. We have offered online therapy, online couples counselling and other online mental health services for many years.

Most of our clients prefer face-to-face appointments at one of our central London practices. Some clients prefer online sessions or a combination of both face-to-face and online counselling.

We have put together a list of questions about therapy, together with our answers

Consultant Therapists and Senior Consultant Therapists

All of our therapists are trained in the UK and each therapist brings their own unique experience and approach to the professional relationships they form with their clients.

Consultant Therapists are fully-qualified and have been trained in a range of counselling approaches and techniques. We select Consultant Therapists for their training, experience, professionalism and their ability to work closely and effectively with their clients.

Senior Consultant Therapists are therapists who have been working with One Therapy at least five years and who have overall experience working with clients for a minimum of 10 years. Many of our Senior Consultant Therapists have more than 20 years of experience working with clients.

Senior Consultant Therapists are carefully chosen for their long years of experience, their attention to detail and the effectiveness of their work.
