Affordable therapy in London

Fees per session start at £90 for individuals and £170 for couples. We have face-to-face and online appointments available with our highly qualified therapists seven days a week. After your first session, it’s your call whether to continue or not.

Get started today

At your first appointment, you’ll meet your therapist and have the chance to talk freely and confidentially about anything that’s on your mind. Your therapist will discuss with you how therapy can help, and the best therapy options available to you. Then, you decide what to do next.

All appointments last 50 minutes and booking your first one is easy. Simply use our online booking system or call us on 0333 207 9330.

Ongoing therapy for long-term benefit

A series of sessions is always more effective than a one off. This allows you and your therapist time to identify why you are struggling and how it’s affecting you, as well as ways to feel better and move forward. If you decide to continue with therapy after your first appointment, you and your therapist will arrange future sessions directly.

We know that some people face financial barriers to getting the help they need. If you have concerns about cost, please discuss this with your therapist during your session or call us on 0333 207 9330. Talk to us, we’re always open to working out an achievable plan.

Ad hoc therapy – Single Session Talks

We recommend weekly therapy to get the maximum benefit, and that’s the option most people choose. But if you’re not able to commit to regular sessions or prefer ad hoc support, you can book a Single Session Talk with a therapist whenever you want. We are here for you.

A single session talk with a therapist is not therapy but it may be enough support for what’s on your mind right now.

The right therapist for you

A qualified, experienced, compassionate therapist is an important investment in your health, and we have over 30 to choose from.

Our Senior Therapists all bring 10-30 years of experience and have been with us for at least five years. All therapists are registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

After your first appointment, our fees for weekly therapy vary depending on the therapist. You’ll find these in our therapist profiles.

Popular questions

Want to know more? Take a look at some of the most common questions people ask about therapy.

Face-to-face therapy is best. There is nothing quite like two people coming together in the same room. The most important factor in therapy is the relationship that forms between client and therapist, and in-person sessions help build this more effectively.

There is, however, a place for online therapy. For some people, it is the preferred or only option. The most important thing is to get the help you need.

A number of our clients choose a hybrid approach, with some appointments face-to-face and some online. This can work very well, so do discuss this option with your therapist at your first appointment if it could be for you.

Therapy is always useful. So if in any doubt, give it a go

Counselling can help with urgent challenges that are happening now, or with the impact of things that happened long ago. Therapy provides a source of human support for anything that might be going on, whether you feel it’s a big thing or a small thing. And if you think talking with a therapist might be difficult, don’t worry. We know how to make talking easier.

We have appointments available seven days a week, from early morning until late in the evening. We also offer a hybrid form of therapy, with some appointments face-to-face at one of our London locations and some online, giving you more flexibility. We will always try to find an appointment that works for you.

Yes. Everything you discuss in therapy is confidential. There are certain legal exceptions to this, which we will explain when you take up therapy with us. We create a space where you can discuss anything on your mind in a private, confidential setting without being judged.

No. It’s important that a person chooses to start counselling, and makes the first approach themselves. We cannot book appointments through any third parties.

Everyone’s needs in therapy are different, and people progress at different rates, so predicting how many sessions you need is difficult. Once you and your therapist have had a few sessions, a conversation with your therapist may help you to establish realistic expectations.
