One Therapy London has provided counselling and psychotherapy in central London for 20 years. In 2022, we opened our first practice in west London. Our beautiful therapy room on Kensington Church St makes finding quality counselling in Kensington and Notting Hill easier than ever.

As counselling and psychotherapy practices rely so much on reputation to grow, it’s never easy to establish a practice in a new area. However, we’re proud to say that our Notting Hill branch is growing and that’s testament to the high-quality psychotherapy, counselling and couples therapy that we provide there. It’s given our Notting Hill team such pleasure to provide so many clients with the support they’ve needed and to see them making positive changes in their lives.

Our counselling practice in Notting Hill

We have a reputation for providing high quality therapy. Our business was established in 2006 and many of our therapists are extremely experienced and well-regarded. We take therapy seriously and are committed to recruiting only the best psychotherapists.

We believe it’s important for clients to feel comfortable and well looked after, and that is certainly reflected in our beautiful therapy rooms. Clients often comment on how lovely they are. There’s something very special about walking into our private, discreet rooms; people feel safe and at ease there.

We offer open-ended therapy, which means it is up to you how long you stay in therapy. You are free to end your sessions at any time. Many clients choose to stay with us for years, but it’s always your choice.

How to choose the right therapist

If you’re not sure which of our therapists to choose, don’t worry. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable talking to your therapist, so go with your gut and book an initial consultation with whoever you feel most drawn to. At the initial consultation, if the fit doesn’t feel quite right for you, it’s no problem for you to switch to a different therapist for your future sessions. And of course, there’s no pressure to continue with therapy after the initial consultation if you decide it’s not for you.

You can read more about each of our therapists in Notting Hill and at our other London locations here.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes, absolutely. For many people, being able to have some or all of their counselling sessions online is important. We understand and are flexible, allowing our clients to choose the approach that best suits them. Some like to start online, then move to in-person sessions once they feel more comfortable. Some want to come in person when they can but need to have occasional online sessions because they travel for work. Whatever your reasons, online therapy is something we are happy to offer. Just select the online option when you book your appointment.

A private room in a convenient location between High Street Kensington and Notting Hill

Our Notting Hill therapy room is on Kensington Church Street, just a few minutes’ walk from Kensington High Street and Notting Hill Gate. It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle though. We know how important privacy is for our clients, so our practice is in a discreet building accessed from a quiet side street.
