Christine (she/her) is an integrative counsellor and psychosexual therapist. She offers a warm and safe space with room for both tears and laughter.
Her approach is relational, curious and personal, focusing on understanding what makes each individual unique.
She works alongside her clients as they explore their emotions, develop new perspectives on behaviours, cultivate self-acceptance and challenge old patterns and narratives that no longer serve them. She mixes inspiration and knowledge from humanistic therapy, psychosynthesis, mindfulness and psychosexual therapy, and tailors it to the needs of her clients.
Whatever you bring to her sessions, she will address in a sensitive way and work through with encouragement and understanding. Christine offers short-term and long-term therapy and has experience working with issues such as grief, loss, low self-esteem, depression, personal development, relationship challenges, anxiety, lack of meaning or purpose, loneliness and fertility.
She has special interests in gender, sexuality, life transitions, non-monogamy, sex and desire.
Having moved to the UK from Denmark, Christine understands what it’s like to establish yourself in a new country. Through her client work, education and teaching at the Psychosynthesis Trust, Christine is experienced in working with a wide variety of people of different ages, cultures, genders, religions and sexualities.
