James is a psychosexual and relationship therapist who has been in private practice for five years.
James works with individuals and couples on sexual and relationship difficulties, understanding that these can be significant causes of distress in one’s life. Prior to working in private practice, James worked for the psychosexual team at Croydon University Hospital. He is a registered member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
James works integratively with his clients, meaning he draws on different counselling approaches depending on what is presented in the room. He has a therapeutic interest in loss of desire in relationships, infidelity and couples in conflict. He aims to create an environment which supports, encourages and challenges his clients and feels it a privilege to be a part of their therapy experience. James also has clinical experience working with depression, anxiety and loss of meaning in one’s life. He is passionate about mental well-being and talking therapies as a route to greater wellbeing.
