One Therapy
Fitzrovia W1

Margaret Street runs parallel to Oxford Street, a three minute walk from Oxford Circus station and 10 minutes from Tottenham Court Road.

Fitzrovia, sometimes called NoHo (for north of Soho) is the area north of Oxford Street running all the way up to Tottenham Court Road. One Therapy Fitzrovia is easy to find and is located in a modern office building in Margaret Street, W1.

Both individual counselling and couples therapy is available

One Therapy Fitzrovia provides counselling for individuals as well as couples counselling. Clients may choose short or longer-term counselling options for help with a range of personal issues and both male and female therapists are available. At your first appointment, we will help you decide which type of counselling and which one of our therapists will be best for your needs.

How does counselling work?

Progress in therapy happens through the unique, confidential relationship that takes place between you and your therapist. Our therapists are trained to understand and help resolve most personal life issues. Together, you and your therapist will discuss the emotional, psychological or behavioural issues that might be holding you back.

Therapy should help make sense of any emotional, psychological or behavioural issues that may be concerning you. Therapy can focus on the past, the present or the future.

Counselling can address anything that’s on your mind and we take your privacy very seriously. Discussions with your therapist are always private. And therapy is non-judgemental — we do not judge personal choices or life experiences. We would not be very helpful to our clients if we did.

How does therapy help?

Over the years that I’ve worked as a therapist, I’ve been asked numerous times by prospective clients, “How does counselling help?”  And I’ve yet to come up with a satisfactory answer. Not because I’m in any doubt that it helps, but because the ‘how’ bit is so hard to articulate concisely…
