A central location for personal therapy in London
One Therapy Fitzrovia provides personal counselling for individuals as well as therapy for couples. Our clients may choose short or longer-term counselling options for help with a range of personal issues and concerns. We have both male and female therapists available in Fitzrovia.
Many of our clients have had previous experiences of therapy elsewhere. For other clients, counselling with us will be a new and unfamiliar experience. Whether you’ve had counselling before or whether this is your first time, we will hope to make your personal counselling experience as helpful and practical as possible. We understand that therapy is a very personal and private experience.
If you are new to therapy, we have put together a list of frequently-asked questions, together with our answers that you might find helpful. Any questions or concerns you have about therapy can be addressed at your first meeting with us.
How does counselling work?
Progress in therapy happens through the unique and confidential relationship that takes place between therapist and client. Our therapists are trained to understand and help resolve most personal life issues. Together, you and your therapist will discuss the emotional, psychological or behavioural issues that might be holding you back.
Counselling can address anything that’s on your mind and we take confidentiality and your privacy very seriously. Discussions with your therapist are always confidential. And therapy is non-judgemental — we do not judge personal choices or life experiences.
First appointments can be booked by phone, by email or through our online booking service. We can usually see new clients within one week of getting in touch although circumstances sometimes require that we operate a short waiting list. Before setting up your first appointment, it may be helpful to understand how our counsellors and psychotherapists work. This information will give you an idea of what to expect from your counsellor or psychotherapist.
If you would like to meet with one of our therapists or if you need more information, please get in touch.
